Counselor at PROMYS 2022, a summer program where I mentored high school students in number theory and other topics in pure math.
TA/grader for MATH 375 Numerical Computation, a class that covers a variety of methods for solving numerical problems, Fall 2021, Spring 2022, Fall 2023.
TA/grader for CS 152 Computer Programing Fundamentals, Spring 2021.
Currently a technical specialist for SEQUANA, a partnership project between Sandia Labs and UNM investigating a machine learning approach to network intrusion detection. Also working on a simple network flow monitor.
Currently working on an undergraduate honors math thesis at UNM attempting to formalize an algebraic theory of asymptotic growth orders. Current draft available here.
UNM ASSURE research fellowship project involving the numerical approximation of potential flow past a plate, under the guidance of Prof. Monika Nitsche. Final report available here.
Development of ExtruderTurtle, a Python library for designing solids for 3D printing using a Turtle-like paradigm. Final research paper published in TEI 2022.
Final project for Fourier analysis class at UNM, describing the construction of a pathological function that is continuous but has a divergent Fourier series at a point.
Browser-based Bookworm Adventures, a remake of a now-deprecated game that I enjoyed playing as a kid.
AP Reseach project investigating the impact of the choice of crossover operator in a simple genetic algorithm. Final report available here.
Personal blog, which dynamically generates and serves my blog posts using a Python web app using the Bottle library.
I'm looking for projects in the following areas:
Functional programming, type theory, computer formalization of mathematical proofs and/or software verification.
Administration/configuration of computer networks, security and intrusion detection.
Bluetooth Low Energy and protocols for IoT.
Computation and in the presence of uncertainty, e.g. randomized algorithms and quantum computing.
